Q: How do I choose the best scooter for me?
Large Scooters

Q: Are scooters shipped assembled, or is the customer required to assemble the scooter?
Scooters are shipped assembled and ready for use out of the box.
Q: Do scooters have warranties?
All scooters have warranties. The warranties can be reviewed at the bottom of each scooter page.
Q: What is the life of the batteries and how often do they need to be charged?
Travel Scooter - Batteries can last up to 2 years depending on usage and should be charged after every use. If you are not using the scooter, it should be plugged into the charger while not in use.
Midsize Scooters - Batteries can last 3-4 years depending on usage and should be charged after every use. If you are not using the scooter, it should be plugged into the charger while not in use.
Large Scooters- Batteries can last 4-5 years depending on usage and should be charged after every use. If you are not using the scooter, it should be plugged into the charger while not in use.
Q: How does cold weather affect batteries?
During below zero temperatures, the battery life will decrease as will the overall performance of the scooter. Your travel time will be less during freezing temperatures than it is when the weather is pleasant.

Q: Where should I store my scooter in the winter?
It is best to store your scooter indoors in above zero temperatures. If you are not able to store your scooter in above zero temperatures then try to store your batteries separately from your scooter.
Remember, if you can't charge your batteries unless they are connected to your scooter, then it is best to leave them on the scooter on continuous charge.
Q: What if there are issues with my scooter once I have taken it out of the box.
The scooter is covered under a warranty. It is best to contact us by email if you have any issues. Our email is info@scootify.ca
Q: Which scooter will fit in my car?
Generally speaking, travel scooters that disassemble into 4-5 pieces can fit into the trunks of most sedans. Some midsize scooters can fit into a van with the use of a scooter lift or a ramp. We find that 6 foot ramps work best for vans.
Q: Are mobility scooters safe for use on the road?
Mobility scooters are not safe for use on roads. Scooters should always be used on sidewalks unless there is no sidewalk available. If a sidewalk is not available and you have to use the road, please do so with extra caution and care.

Q: What if I am experiencing issues with my scooter?
Your new scooter is covered by a comprehensive warranty. If you have any issues with it, all you have to do is give us a call at 647-668-2343.
